Named “Most Innovative” yacht for 2018 by Cruising World magazine’s Boat of the Year judges, the Jeanneau 440 is truly a groundbreaking design. Most notably, her deck configuration features “walk around” ramped side decks, allowing safe and unimpeded access from her cockpit to the foredeck. Her large cockpit with asymmetrically mounted table allows easy access from the companionway to the swimstep and accommodates a crew for dinner and cocktails. Sails are easily set and all control lines led to the cockpit. Below decks, her three stateroom, two head layout feels larger than her length suggests with spacious galley and salon spaces. Well maintained and outfitted, Just Breeze is a complete Pacific Northwest cruising package.
Raymarine electronics – Victron LiFePO4 batteries and inverter/charger – Balmar high output alternator with Wakespeed external regulator – electric primary winches and cabin top winch – Iverson’s Designs dodger and bimini – Max Prop feathering propeller – aluminum bottom RIB dinghy and outboard – Webasto diesel heat

Just Breeze’s interior is very bright – the result of large cabin and hull side portlights and numerous hatches. All portlights feature shades, and hatches feature screen and shade combinations. Her three stateroom, two head arrangement sleeps eight when the salon settee is converted into a additional berth.
Forward, the master stateroom is accessed via a wide doorway with double doors and features a walk around “island” berth there is storage in drawers beneath the berth and lockers aft and to starboard. The ensuite master head is aft and to port, with a separate shower stall.
The salon is aft, with U-shaped settee to starboard surrounding a fixed table. There is storage outboard of the settees and below.
Opposite the salon is the galley. A C shaped countertop provides ample working space. Counters are white Corian with integral fiddles. There is a double stainless sink forward, with top loading freezer compartment just outboard. The propane two burner stove and oven is protected by a stainless crash bar. A top loading dry storage locker is aft of the stove and there is a front loading refrigerator inboard. Ample lockers for galley utensils and pantry items are located beneath the counter.
The navigation station is aft of the galley. A large chart table provides a space for laying out charts. Radios, battery monitoring and electrical distribution panel are located outboard.
The guest head is located to starboard adjacent to the companionway. This is a well appointed head with separate shower.
Two guest staterooms are located aft and are almost identical in their configuration. The berths are wide as a result of the beam carried aft in this design. Lots of light comes from fixed and opening ports in the hull side and into the cockpit.
