The Doug Zurn designed MJM 34z has made a name for itself as a seaworthy, Downeast design with beautiful lines and impressive fuel economy. At roughly 2 gallons per hour at her fast cruise speed of 19-20 knots, she’s merely sipping fuel compared to other boats in her class. She’s a stable and safe platform and easily maneuvered by a shorthanded crew. Her efficient layout is spacious enough for a couple for extended cruising and a crew of six or more for harbor cruises. There is excellent storage and systems access throughout. Full access to the engine and mechanical spaces is provided through hydraulic deck lift system, which lifts the cockpit forward and up out of the way for complete and unrestricted access.
