The Valiant 50 is a rock-solid blue water cruiser of the highest quality.  True North American design, construction, and outfitting from the drawing board of Robert H. Perry; and built in Texas by Valiant Yachts.  Valiant Owners can depend on their boats to take care of them when conditions deteriorate and boats of lesser stature head for harbor or worse…. the sea floor.

In return, BLUE MARTINI’s owners spared no expense taking care of this flagship model of the Valiant fleet with many recent upgrades and updates.

Equipment highlights:

  • Hydrovane steering vane
  • Garmin electronics – radar, chartplotter, instruments
  • American 12V bow thruster
  • Solid handrails from midships boarding gates to stern
  • Icom 710 SSB and Pactor modem
  • Spectra watermker
  • Magnum inverter/charger
  • Westerbeke genset and air conditioning
  • Rigid top cockpit dodger
  • 700 watts of solar on bimini frame
  • Electric halyard winch
  • Tides Marine mainsail luff system and Schaefer furlers

BLUE MARTINI was shipped from La Paz to Nanaimo in April of 2020 after her owner tragically passed away.   A review of BLUE MARTINI’s Facebook page shows great times shared by a crew of good friends and family aboard a well found and appreciated cruising yacht; the pride of its owner.  BLUE MARTINI raced in the 2016 and 2017 Oregon Offshore races, 2017 Whidbey Island Race Week, and participated in the 2018 Baja Haha.  BLUE MARTINI is now seriously for sale at our docks on Lake Union.
