New tubes by Protector Boats Spring 2024 and new Simrad electronics in 2021. HAMANA is squared away and in excellent condition.
HAMANA is a well maintained Protector Targa 28. Ideal for use as a tender or commuter vessel, Protector boats are well known for their deep v-hull shapes and tall bow that provide excellent seakeeping capabilities. Capable of 45+ knots, HAMANA is able to quickly reach her destination. Construction details are excellent.
A hard glass windshield provides excellent weather protection for her cockpit. Teak is overlaid on the sole throughout. Seats to port and starboard feature drop seats that allow helmsman and crew to stand in rough conditions. There are small settees aft of these helm seats and a bench seat along the aft end of the cockpit. This bench seat hinges to reveal storage space and access to the engine start batteries. A drop curtain with windows provides shelter for the forward end of the cockpit in inclement conditions. The small cabin features two settees with storage beneath. A electric toilet is mounted beneath the aft end of the port settee. A hatch leads to the forward cockpit. There is a seat forward (storage beneath) with stainless grab bar and the anchor windlass.
