The J/92 offers many rewarding features for the next adventure, weather it is a weekend getaway or a weeknight race series. This design was drawn with the family in mind and being able to sail to whatever caliber you want. The 5.5’ retractable carbon bow sprit, large cockpit and stable racing hull design are all spectacular designs about this 30’ racer/weekend cruiser. Smile N Wave was equipped with a new Yanmar engine in 2008 with extremely low hours, newer race sails in great condition and updated electronics.

Below decks, Smile N Wave does not disappoint, with her exceptional camper cruiser attributes and a large open interior. The most notable features for Smile N Wave are her forward manual head with a privacy screen and built in Espar heating system. The cabin is surprisingly roomy for a thirty-foot boat and proves that J-boat has once again, designed a well-rounded boat ready for adventure.

Interior Accommodations

Below decks on the J/92, there is a surprising amount of cabin space. The raised cabin top gives just enough headroom to provide a practical cabin and lets in additional light through the portlights. The main cabin has port and starboard settees comfortable enough to sleep on. On the port side there is a sink with a cutting board for basic food prep or a small camp stove. The single basin sink has water pressure by means of a manual foot-pump style water pump.

Forward, there is a hanging space on the starboard side for lines and gear and the head is opposite on the port side. There is a manual marine toilet and space for a sink in the countertop if you choose to add one. The V berth provides a large sleeping space for two people great for a weekend getaway or afternoon nap. The forward deck hatch lets in ample amounts of light and provides good ventilation when open.
