Deck & Hull

Designed by German Frers, the Hallberg-Rassy 310 features a modern, efficient hull with a fine entry, long waterline, and balanced appendages. The Hallberg-Rassy 310 is built to the robust standards the yard is known for, starting with a hand-laid fiberglass hull that uses solid laminate below the waterline for impact resistance and a Divinycell-cored sandwich above the waterline for insulation, stiffness and weight savings. The deck is also a fiberglass sandwich with solid laminate in all high-load areas, and the hull and deck are joined before interior installation to form a strong, unified structure.

The slightly overlapping sloop rig with under-deck Furlex furler and well-spaced swept spreaders promotes clear foredeck access and easy sail handling. All running rigging and genoa car tweakers are led aft to ample Lewmar winches just forward of the cockpit, giving the helmsman or crew control without leaving the cockpit area.

The cockpit is generous for a 31-footer, well protected by a windscreen and sprayhood, and benefits from an open transom — a layout that blends practical sail handling with easy boarding and water access. Flush Lewmar hatches and well-placed dorade vents punctuate the deck for light and ventilation below, without interrupting the clean deck lines. Thoughtful touches like exterior-mounted nav light switches on the coaming and ample cleats and handholds underscore a design focused on safe, simple cruising and solid offshore manners.
