Once you step aboard Paternus you will want to stay — which is exactly the feeling she was designed to invoke. From its inception, the Vision Series from Bavaria Yachts was created not for the charter market, but for the private owners that plan to use their boats for extended cruising. The layout, controls, and systems of the Bavaria 40 Vision offer better comfort for the intended crew: typically, a cruising couple with occasional guests. With 6-foot 7-inch headroom and plenty of daylight, the 40 Vision provides one of the most comfortable, airy and bright interiors in her class. Paternus is a turnkey-ready, single-owner, accident-free, local BC boat, and offers all the cruising amenities and performance sailors in the Pacific Northwest appreciate. She is available for viewing at our sales docks at Mill Bay Marina, BC.

With Starting forward, is a large, bright master cabin with double centerline berth, hanging lockers and overhead hatches. The spacious saloon features 6’ 7” of standing headroom and large windows and hatches for excellent visibility and daylight. A U-shaped settee to port surrounds the dining table. Securely closing cabinetry and cupboards offer vast storage possibilities throughout. A single settee adds to the seating/sleeping options to starboard. The forward facing, dedicated navigation station doubles as a workspace or additional saloon seating. Across to port is the large, functional L-shaped galley. Perfect for passing up snacks to the cockpit or entertaining guests below decks. The head is to starboard. It is tall, bright and well ventilated, and features a separate shower area, divided by a curtain. The guest cabin to starboard-aft offers good privacy, an “almost queen” size berth, and ample locker space. A massive lazarette/storage locker is accessible via the cockpit seating to starboard.
