The Allures 39.9 is a rugged centerboard cruising yacht designed by Berret-Racoupeau. Allures’ unique design features an aluminum hull with composite deckthe best of both worlds in terms of strong and low maintenance construction. Her centerboard retracts fully into the hull, giving her a draft of only 3-feet 6-inches when raised (she may be beached if desired) and providing fantastic sailing performance off the wind. Her two stateroom, two head interior layout with “garage” technical room is optimized for long distance cruising and has a bright and open feel while retaining design elements necessary for an ocean going yacht.

ARRONAX is a well equipped version and ready for extended cruising. Highlights include:

400 watts solar – D400 wind generator – Webasto diesel heat – new standing rigging in 2023 – electric halyard winch – new Lifeline AGM batteries in 2024 – B&G electronics, radar and AIS – Hydrovane self steering – Watermaker – Bow thruster – Life raft and EPIRB

Deck and Hull

The Allures 39.9 hull is rugged aluminum. Plating ranges from 6-10mm and is welded to a system of frames and stringers. Closed cell foam insulation is laid into the hull above the waterline, providing thermal and acoustic properties. The deck is white gelcoat with nonskid, constructed with Divinycell foam core. Cockpit seats and sole are overlaid with Marinedeck composite faux teak. Halyards and control lines are led aft to winches on the cabin top beneath the dodger. There is a fixed teak cockpit table mounted in centerline at the forward end of the cockpit. The B&G chartplotter is mounted at the aft end, allowing visibility from either helm station. The twin wheels allow easy passage to the transom, with a wide swimstep that provides easy access to a dinghy or the water. A strong arch acts as dinghy davit and mount for solar panels, wind generator and antennas.
