The Alerion Express 28 has consistently been recognized as one of the prettiest boats on the water. The traditional look above the waterline sports a thoroughly modern underwater shape that simply adds to her allure.
This amazing daysailor/weekender sails like a dream. The Alerion Express 28 is a great design from the very accomplished naval architect, Carl Schumacher. She has traditional lines above the waterline, with a modern underbody and sail plan. The Hoyt jib boom makes her extremely easy to sail shorthanded, coupled with a large and roomy cockpit for either a singlehander or a family.
With over 450 AE28’s worldwide, this daysailer is by far the most popular of all the modern daysailers. With her inception in the late 1980s, the AE28 was the first model to start this trend.
Barbara has had 2 owners and has been owned by the current owner for the last 20 years.
