Next Chapter is a fantastic opportunity for her next owner to purchase a barely used GB 41 in remarkable condition. She has only had two owners since new and the current owners have hardly had the time to use her, so her condition is truly exceptional. And although her owners have been busy, Next Chapter has been lovingly cared for and upgraded continuously by professionals.
Next Chapter is a very modern version of the traditional Grand Banks trawlers. She has twin Cummins QSB 425 engines with ZEUS pod drives with joystick control and Skyhook capabilities. Her exterior surfaces are low maintenance and her woodwork is limited to the places that matter the most. The covered side decks and opening aft door to the salon make her a vessel you can spend all summer aboard and never feel deprived.
If you appreciate the good looks of a traditional trawler, but appreciate technology and the ability to travel at higher speeds (20+ knots), come over to Bainbridge Island to take a look at Next Chapter.

Manufacturer Provided Description
In one bold stroke, the legendary Heritage Series design has been expertly married to a new and innovative set of features, starting with a truly state-of-the-art propulsion system. As a result, the 41EU cruises smoothly and efficiently at 10 and 24 knots alike. She handles a tight slip as confidently as a tall sea, impresses with her luxury as much as her practicality, and goes faster and farther, yet still rides cleaner and quieter.

Coming Aboard Next Chapter
Next Chapter can be boarded from the side or aft deck. There is a large teak swim-step with the Freedom Lift dinghy platform and a transom door with steps into the cockpit. On the side decks are gates that allow for the easy transition to a dock from either side. There is a full size door next to the helm.
When boarding from the swim deck you enter the cockpit with the engine space hatches, molded ladder to the flybridge and large sliding door to the salon. This is a terrific space to lounge in a deck chair, keep a couple of folding bikes or hang with the boat mascot. There is plenty of room for a table and chairs for dinner or a round of cards with friends.
The side decks are wide and covered. They provide an exceptionally safe place to tend to fenders and lines, have kids and dogs running around or get to the forward deck. There is molded non-skid and teak cap-rails for easy maintenance and traditional good looks.
The molded in staircase (not a ladder) to the flybridge is covered by a clear plexiglass overhead hatch. The keeps the aft deck dry and creates a storage locker below. When you get to the flybridge you’ll find an enormous space with seating for the whole family. There is a rack for a dinghy if you’d like to make an ocean passage and a small crane to get her there. Full engine controls and electronics are at the forward end with great visibility. There is tons of storage, a table for dining and a huge bimini top.
Entering the salon from the cockpit, you’ll see settees port and starboard. There is a folding table center-line to port with upholstered benches in the lockers. There is a large television on the aft bulkhead and the galley is forward on the port side. On the starboard side is the double helm seat, all the systems controls and the helm. There is a large door to the starboard side deck.
On the floor is a large hatch to the “commissary” below. This space has a staircase the can be oriented from forward or aft and leads into a space where you can stand in the center of the boat. here is located the washer/dryer unit, a top loading fridge and considerable storage. This is a utility room for the vessel and it’s enormously useful for long distance cruising.
Forward and down four steps you enter the hallway to the staterooms and head. The master stateroom with walk around queen bed is forward. There are cabinets everywhere and great ventilation. To starboard is a large head with separate shower. To port is a private cabin with twins with a filler to make a double. There is ample storage for long term cruising here as well.
