Few 27 foot vessels boast the utility of the Ranger Tugs R-27. She is an ideal power-cruiser for exploring Pacific Northwest waters — nimble yet sturdy, comfortable yet not too large to be singlehanded. The R-27 features a large cockpit and smart balance between interior and exterior space. She sleeps five in a V-berth, convertible dinette and quarterberth, and her well-conceived interior layout does it all with surprising space. The cockpit and large swimstep provide a great platform for fishing or relaxing at anchor, protected by a canvas bimini on stainless frame. Her 300hp Yamaha outboard pushes her at a 30 mph cruising speed and tops out at just over 40 mph, an ability that will be greatly appreciated when negotiating the narrows and passes of the Inside Passage.
Rosemary is in excellent condition, loaded with gear including 9.9 hp Yamaha kicker (with tie bar and cockpit controls), bow thruster, Garmin radar/chartplotter and autopilot, Webasto diesel heater, AGM batteries, RIB and dinghy lift, cockpit bimini, Raptor Deck, 160w solar panel, propane cooking and underwater lights.

Interior Description
Rosemary’s interior is finished in teak with a molded fiberglass headliner. Her cabin sole is easy to maintain molded fiberglass with inset teak panels. Large windows and numerous opening hatches provide excellent light, ventilation and views to the outside. Sleeping arrangements are provided for five.
Forward is a standard V-berth with cushion topper. There are reading lamps at the head of each berth. Storage is available in lockers beneath the berth. This space also converts to a dinette with a table that is stored below. There is storage aft and to port.
Aft and to starboard is the head with integral shower. The space is finished with a molded fiberglass pan and shower drain. A opening port provides ventilation. There is storage in a locker beneath the counter forward.
Two steps lead up to the salon, which is smartly configured to serve as pilothouse, galley and living space. At the forward end of the salon are two forward facing seats. The helm station to starboard features a raised helm platform, leather upholstered helm seat, stainless foot brace and wood rimmed destroyer wheel. A Garmin radar/chartplotter, autopilot control, VHF radio, and thruster controls are close at hand. The seat folds forward to create a seat at the raised table. The dinette converts to provide an additional berth. Two opening windows and four opening hatches allow excellent ventilation. Opposite the table to starboard is the compact but functional galley with front loading fridge, sink with pressure hot/cold water, Force 10 propane stove/oven and ample storage beneath the counter. The port side helm seat cleverly folds forward to create additional counter space.
Adjacent the companionway to starboard is a quarterberth that stretches forward beneath the raised dinette. This space is well suited for guests or additional storage space. Windows in the hull side provide a view.
