Farther On is hull #28 of the Allures 45.9 series. She was delivered in August of 2021 at the Allures/Garcia Shipyard in Cherbourg, France. Farther On was then sailed across the English Channel and shipped from Southampton to Philadelphia. She was displayed at the 2021 and 2023 US Sailboat Shows in Annapolis, Maryland.

Farther On has been day and weekend sailed out of Tolchester, Maryland during the summer and stored on land under shrink wrap in the winter. She is currently in winter storage at Tolchester Marina and shrink wrapped. Farther On is an “owner’s version” with two staterooms and two heads. The owner’s stateroom is forward with a centerline queen berth.  This berth can hinge open forming two single berths when desired. A forward head is ensuite to starboard/aft. There is a guest stateroom in the starboard quarter. The head is to port of the companionway with a stall shower forward. A technical room in the port quarter has a workbench with drawers below it. A mattress fits on top of the work bench when accommodating extra crew. The dining table also lowers making the dinette one very large berth.

The owner’s change in plans makes this well-equipped, very lightly used Allures 45.9 an excellent choice for the aspiring cruiser looking for a “like new”, shoal-draft, aluminum world cruiser with immediate delivery priced well below replacement value.
