Tutto Bene, a Beneteau Oceanis 45, is ready to please her new owners with any adventure. She is one of the first in the Oceanis 45 line to be built and her specifications were so desirable they weren’t changed for the next several years. In the first year of production, the Oceanis 45 was given the European Sailboat of the Year award in the family cruiser category. Tutto Bene features a standard height rig with in mast furling, standard 7-foot draft and hard chines above the waterline, which makes for a generous beam of nearly fifteen feet. The mainsheet arch, three power winches and halyards that run aft to the cockpit make shorthanded sailing a breeze. For post-sailing activities, the transom lowers by the push of a button into a glorious swim platform that will leave the whole anchorage jealous. Tutto Bene is ready to be made into your new dream boat!

Accommodations

The interior of Tutto Bene is finished in Mahogany and fresh white panels, and cream leather upholstery complimenting a modern design. Her spacious three stateroom, two head (each with a separate shower stall) comfortably accommodates six.

Starting forward, the spacious owner’s stateroom occupies nearly a third of the interior space and has a generous amount of storage space. The bunk is a centerline island berth that is 6’ 8”. This cabin boasts four overhead hatches and two portlights let in a generous amount of light and the overhead and reading lights supplement after sunset. The cabin has one large hanging locker with several cabinets below and one large drawer under the bed.

The ensuite master head is accessed via the forward cabin on the starboard side. It is equipped with an electric Vacuflush toilet and a large counter along the outboard side with sliding storage doors concealing the storage behind. The shower stall is inboard and separated by an acrylic door.

The main salon comfortably accommodates a number of guests and feels much larger than her forty-five foot waterline should allow and her 6’ 8” of headroom will be comfortable for guests and crew. Along the starboard side is the 6’ 6” long U-shaped settee surrounding the dining table.  Two storage lockers and one open shelf lay outboard above the settee with the large salon windows above them. Just aft of the settee is a storage cabinet with wine bottle storage or other pantry items. On the port side is a customizable section, with two sliding chairs sliding together as a love seat or separated with the navigation table between them.

The “L”-shaped galley is on the port side with the top loading freezer and front-loading fridge wrapping into the center of the boat providing extra countertop space.  The gimbaled Force 10 three-burner stove and oven is along the hull with the double basin sink and single lever faucet aft. Above them is storage spanning the length of the galley with sliding and hinged doors to hold items in place while underway. The microwave oven is nestled in behind a cabinet door and easily accessed.

The aft head is opposite the galley to starboard and is accessible through a door in the main salon or the starboard stateroom. The sink and electric toilet are in the first compartment with the shower stall is forward and separated by an acrylic door.
The crisp white countertops are easy to clean and the overhead lighting and portlights add brightness to the space. Ample storage is outboard behind the mirrors.

The starboard stateroom is aft of the head and features a generously sized quarter berth comfortable for two people and 6’ 8” long. The aft facing tinted window, overhead hatch and outboard portlight allow lots of natural light into the space. They all have privacy shades to keep the cabin cooler on hot summer days. A large hanging locker is outboard.

The port stateroom is laid out much like the starboard with a berth suitable for two people, a hull mounted portlight and hanging storage locker at the head of the cabin. LED reading lights and overhead lights adequately light the cabin after dark.

The companionway leads from the cockpit into the cabin at a relaxed 45º angle.

Deck and Hull

Tutto Bene is finished with a fresh white gel coat on her hull with the Beneteau cove stripe and single black boot stripe at the waterline. Her bottom was last painted in 2018 and her zincs were just replaced in July.

Topsides, she has teak decks with a Flexiteak toe rail. Forward there is a double stainless bow roller, pulpit and double lifelines that carry all the way aft to the pushpit with gates on the starboard and port sides. The electric windlass is recessed into the foredeck with access to the anchor locker below. Just aft and separated by a bulkhead is a bow locker with space for sails, fenders and cruising toys you may want to bring along. The raised coach roof cabin top is cleanly laid out with simple stainless handholds, recessed deck hatches and line organizers running all halyards aft to the cockpit. The mainsheet is arch-mounted keeping the cockpit free of clutter and placing the purchase well aft on the boom for maximum leverage.  The large spacious cockpit is equipped with twin wheels, insulated drop leaf cockpit table and open access to the stern platform. Two electric primary winches flank each wheel allowing the helmsperson to trim. The teak covered cockpit seats provide a great lounge space while under way and LED lighting in the arch let the party go on into the evening while at anchor with friends.

A pushbutton at the port helm controls the swim platform electric lift.  When up, the platform closes the transom.  A full beam seat has space to seat eight.  When down, the platform and helm seat transform into a huge, water-level swim step with stainless steel ladder.  A liferaft locker is on centerline.  Additional hatches aft of each helm access large stern storage lockers.  A cooking gas locker is recessed into the cockpit sole adjacent the liferaft locker.
