When approaching NELLE, you notice right away that she’s a shippy-looking boat. Her shearline is business like and she looks as though she can handle some rough weather. This is the working boat heritage showing.
You board her through a transom door into a generous cockpit covered by a custom Sunbrella cover. This was added by the current owner after he brought her to the PNW in 2018. The cockpit has room for coolers, deck chairs and assorted equipment needed to run the boat. But this is also a great space to share a cocktail or a meal at the end of the day.
At the back of the cockpit is a swim step with dinghy davits. This makes launching and retrieving the dinghy safe and easy.
The cabin has a solid door for safety and to keep the cabin warm in cooler weather. There is a solar panel on the roof to keep the batteries charged for several days at anchor.
The cabin has a dinette to port with comfortable seating for two and a settee to starboard. The helm has safe and comfortable seating for any weather with a door next to the helm. The door makes everything easier and provides great ventilation and access.
All the controls are easily accessed from the helm seat and the visibility is terrific for captain and crew. Several of the cabin windows open as well.
Stepping down into the lower cabin you’ve got a generous galley to port and a head to starboard. The galley has an efficient drawer fridge so you don’t have to bend down to get into it. There is a two burner propane stove and counter space to make meal preparation comfortable. There is an extra flip up counter to add extra space as well.
Forward of this area is a generous V-berth with plenty of room to stretch out after a long day on the water.
