PRUDENCE can do it all in style. She is a well maintained Sabre 402 that shows impeccably. This Jim Taylor design is one of the best performance cruisers on the water, named best Overall Boat of the Year from Cruising World Magazine in 1997. Whether you’re looking for a performance oriented cruiser or want to surprise a few people on the racecourse, this is a boat you must consider.
Her interior looks almost new with beautifully finished Cherry and Chrome fixtures. She is nicely arranged for two cruising couples. The teak and holly floors have been covered since new and are perfect. The cherry interior is in excellent condition and looks gorgeous. All of the interior lights with the exception of the reading lights are now LEDs. The Sabre 402 is one of the prettiest boats they ever built, and this boat is no exception. You can’t pull into a harbor without someone saying WOW, what a beautiful boat.
She is swift and nimble with her fin keel, yet very easy to sail and manage short handed. The construction of Sabres is done in the traditional method of laminated bulkheads to the hull for maximum stiffness and strength. This boat offers greater stability, comfort and security than many other comparable boats.
