BUDDY B is a wonderful example of a very versatile cruiser conceived and built right here in the Pacific Northwest. Few companies can claim that they created a revolution in the boating industry the way that Ranger Tugs has. BUDDY B has all the systems and capabilities that you'd expect in a much larger vessel and owners of sister ships have had some remarkable adventures.
BUDDY B has low hours (300) 150 hp Yanmar diesel, bow and stern thrusters, Wallas heat/stove and a generous inverter. Her navigation gear includes everything you'll need to go as far as you can imagine on a boat this size. She was ordered with all the extras including solar panels, and a safety and dinghy package.
BUDDY B is capable of cruising at 14 knots using only 6.5 gallons/hour or cruise at trawler speeds and use 1.5 gal/hr. Her remote control allows amazing flexibility for docking that you'd never expect from a 25-foot cruising boat. She's been very well maintained by a single owner and shows like a new boat. The current (second) owners updated the styling by having NW Fiberglass repaint the brown cabin stripe with gray. The boat looks pretty sharp.
