Interior Accommodations
Beginning at the bow, the two-cabin arrangement allows for a luxurious cabin forward. Cabinets line the walls, while a hanging locker provides plenty of space for clothes. A makeup desk, complete with mirror and seat, is to port. A shower arrangement has a solid swing-out door to separate it from the rest of the head.
The main salon benefits greatly from the combination of light wood and large deck salon windows, overhead windows and long hull windows. The feel of lightness and airiness is tremendous. A dinette is to starboard while a settee and special wine cabinet are to port. Also to port is the navigation table with storage.
The galley is particularly large, and with white countertops and in-fills for the sink, there is plenty of countertop space. Equipment is complete, with a 3-burner stove with oven, freezer and refrigerator and microwave.
The aft cabin features a queen size island bed, abundant lockers and cabinets, large bedside tables and an ensuite head with shower. There are four opening ports to provide ventilation and hull windows for a water view.

Deck and Hull
The hull was injection molded into a closed mold. Not only does this make an efficient and solid layup, it prevents pollutants being emitted. The deck is balsa cored except in loaded areas, which are solid laminates. Bulkheads are tabbed and a grid system provides rigidity.
The deck features an effective nonskid, and the wide beam makes it easy to transit forward. The cockpit is exceptionally roomy, with a centerline table with leaves that create a perfect dining area while on the hook. The twin wheels allow the helmsman to get outboard for good visibility and provide access to the swim platform. The deep aft lockers will absorb all the fenders, fenders and lines.

Sails and Rigging
Megalikai’s rig is set up for easy sailing. With the headsail and mainsail both on furlers controlled from the cockpit, there is no need to go forward to reduce sail. Electric primary winches plus an electric cabintop winch make sail handling an exercise in finesse rather than muscles.
