Maya presents a rare opportunity to purchase a very lightly used Dehler 46c. The design from the boards of Judel/Vrolijk excels on every point of sail and provides the best of both cruising and racing capabilities.
Maya was highly specified from the factory and has been meticulously maintained since her arrival in Seattle in November, 2017. Upgrades include a larger Volvo Penta D2 auxiliary with a 3-blade folding propeller, retractable bow thruster, power winches, diesel forced air heat, B&G H5000 instruments, electric head and composite sprit and wheels. In addition, she features a full race AND cruise sail inventory that has seen only light use.
Her three stateroom/two head interior is elegantly appointed in the cherry with teak and holly cabin sole and “Pacific” natural/cream upholstery. Her cabin feels light and airy as a result of large hatches, windows and hull side ports, yet exudes a classic yacht feel in her rich veneers but with a modern twist. On deck, a clean layout is optimized for both cruising and racing. A spacious cockpit arrangement with twin wheels, end boom “Admiral’s Cup” mainsheet system, electric halyard and mainsheet winches, satisfies the sailor while her drop down swim platform and centerline cockpit table satisfies the crew.
Having only logged 136 hours on her engine, Maya’s owner has decided to move into a full race program, making this near new performance cruiser available to new owners. She is the only Dehler 46 in the Pacific Northwest and one of three on the West Coast.
