Interior Accommodations
First and foremost, Stella Maris is spacious. The main salon is exceptionally roomy (160 sq. ft), with the galley, eating area and helm all present and none of it crowded. The large salon windows provide remarkably good visibility while abundant wood, including parquet floors, supply the comfortable ambiance throughout. Headroom is 6’7” in the salon and a minimum of 6’1” throughout. The Forward CabinThe bunks are of a good length, about 6’5”. They are basically singles which come together and meet at the foot. There is plenty of room to move around in the cabin. Above the bunks on both are large windows. Both windows in this in this cabin open. There are three drawers on each side, located below and inside the bunks. There is a medium sized hanging locker on the starboard side aft of the bunk. The Port Cabin
Just aft and to port is a second berth. There are upper and lower single in this cabin. The cushions are in great condition. The bunks are just over 6’ 6”. The top bunk has space to port underneath the window to store stuff. There is a locker forward on inside of the berths. The locker has space on the top and fiddles to contain items from falling. It a midsize hanging locker. This cabin also has a large opening window. Engine room access is also through this cabin.
The Forward Head & Shower
The forward-facing head features the Vacuflush system. There is also a separate shower area, which is closed off by a shower curtain. The shower itself is outboard of the head there is enough space to take a shower sitting on the wood slatted seat or standing. The sink is forward of the shower. Storage is outboard of the sink. A window above which opens. There’s also a large mirror.
Aft Cabin
Aft is the owner’s cabin. And it certainly fits the bill as a master stateroom. There’s a true queen mattress, which is very comfortable. There are reading lights above on the aft cabin wall. There is an amazing amount of storage, with 11 drawers per side, plus one drawer under the berth on each side. Three drawers on the port side in three doors on the starboard right next to the bunk. And then four drawers outboard on both sides. Aft of the drawers are large storage lockers on each side. Port and starboard you have huge storage space for you name it, plus shelves above the drawers and above the cabinets on both sides. On the starboard side you have the sit-down desk. The private head is on the port side.
Aft head and Shower
On the port side is the head. Inboard of the head you have the standup shower which closes with a solid door. The head itself is an aft-facing Vacuflush. Outboard of the toilet is the vanity and sink and plenty of counter space. This room also has a window which opens inward on a hatch. There is an amazing amount of storage throughout the head. This is the right sized head for this type of boat, spacious yet configured so it doesn’t intrude much on the living areas.
Main Salon
Moving up the passage to the main salon, there is a large but shallow pantry cabinet. Above that there is a deep cabinet.
The main salon is large, and it serves many purposes. From a clockwise starting on the port side and go around from there. It starts with a Kenmore apartment-sized fridge and freezer. At the aft end of the port side galley is the microwave. Below is the counter space ample for a power boat of this size, and definitely larger than one would have on a sailboat of this size. Forward of that is the sink and virtually unused Force 10 3-burner stove/oven. The galley features a remarkable amount of storage throughout.
Moving on to the port side forward is the dining area. It starts with a Kenwood stereo facing the dining area. There’s an ice maker in small storage area to its left. Moving forward, the table seats easily up to six with the bench seating and a couple of chairs. More could be squeezed in. There is massive storage under the seats in the salon. The salon table itself serves two purposes. It can be folded up for a game atmosphere or to seat the maximum number. Otherwise when it is folded out it provides a comfortable dining experience and has an elegant top built in.
Next we move to the front of this cabin which is also the pilot’s birth for below. On left side you have a sharp television and a large counter space for all kinds of goodies. Underneath it lifts giving access narrow but big storage space both on the port and starboard side. The starboard side starts with a heater control, a Link 10 battery monitor, and Heart Inverter interface. There is a lower space and below that you have the battery controls along with the battery controls are the breakers etc. There’s an Autohelm Sea-talk ST6000 autopilot. Each engine has Morse controls and both engines have degrees in temperature, PSI, and voltage. There's a sliding door starboard next to the helm.
Aft of the helm station on the starboard side are two cushy chairs to. In very aft section on the starboard side are three stairs up to a companionway to the aft deck.
