Stainless stern arch system
● The arch was customized by the engineer owner who specified extra support gussets and tie rods to prevent vibration
● The two 130-amp solar panels are mounted on top of the arch
● The Eclectic Energy D400 wind generator is mounted on the starboard side on the arch integrated with the arch
● The antennas also live on the arch; Northstar antenna and the Furuno NavNet two antennas supporting the Furuno AIS, Iridium Sat Phone, and Sirius Weather
● The arch was rebedded in Dec 2018 when the boat arrived in Seattle by truck
● The davit system is removable, integrated with stern arch
● Davit control lift-lower lines run with two to one tackle run through blocks and through a stopper so that it can be done by a solo sailor or even easier as a team
● The new ABI 8’5” dinghy is a fabulous aluminum bottom dinghy which is very light and very strong
● The davit system allows the dinghy to be carried very high (although it is stowed on deck with lifting harness and electric winch for an ocean passage, or anytime)
● LED stern light is mounted on the arch and is very visible
● Flag holder is mounted on the arch and also one on the coaming
