Step Aboard Allures 45.9 Hull #28 at the United States Sailboat Show

The United States Sailboat Show in Annapolis, Maryland is once again on the horizon and Swiftsure Yachts will be showing the dynamic Allures 45.9. Running from October 14-18, we’ll be located on Dock D and invite you to stop by, say hello and tour this finely crafted world cruiser. Designed and built to be at home on any ocean, it features a rugged yet sea-kindly aluminum hull, centerboard for shallow or deep draft capability, spacious cockpit and interior layout, and much more. Our showboat, the Allures 45.9 hull #28 Farther On, recently arrived in Philadelphia after a transit across the Atlantic. Swiftsure’s project manager in France, Kevin Bray, delivered Farther On from Cherbourg to Southampton for loading on the M/V Stadiongracht. Swiftsure Partner and Broker Pete McGonagle and Farther On owner Sebastian Ferrer met the ship in Philadelphia for unloading. After launching by ship’s cranes into the Delaware River, Pete and Sebastian motored to Delaware City for the night and then transited the C&D Canal and upper Chesapeake Bay, arriving to Rock Hall, Maryland just before sunset. Pete then spent a few days training Sebastian and crew on his new boat.
