The Pearson 422 design was ahead of its time. Walk around queen master berth, two heads (one with separate shower stall) and center cockpit design are features more common in modern day cruisers. Just 39 of the 422 were built making this a popular and sought after model. The Pearson 422 has the same great sailing hull form as her sisters the 419-424, but her center cockpit layout makes for a better use of space with two very nice enclosed staterooms and two heads. Pearson built a great boat in those days. The interior bulkheads and trim are varnished teak while the sole is a traditional teak and holly.
