Hallberg-Rassy built 602 of these boats between 1989 and 2003; by far their most popular model ever. Matilda is hull no. 544 and was shipped to Seattle in 2002. She was based in Bellingham and cruised the San Juan and Canadian Gulf Islands. Her interior shows in “near new” condition and the bilges and engine room are spotless. The decks are smooth and thick, and sails and rigging in excellent condition. Electronics are original. Engine hours are 655 after her recent delivery trip from Bellingham to our Lake Union docks where Matilda is seriously for sail and easy to view. If you’re looking for a boat with all the options one would want for Pacific Northwest cruising, including Webasto heater, anchor windlass, radar, cockpit table, and dinghy, you won’t find a cleaner Hallberg-Rassy 36 anywhere!
