Conceived by Jimmy Cornell for his Blue Planet Odyssey, the Exploration 45 is designed and constructed for serious high latitude and tropical sailing, featuring a centerboard for shallow draft capability, deck saloon with 270 degree views, insulated aluminum hull with collision bulkheads and watertight companionway, and bulletproof systems and access.

A dream team

The Garcia sailing yachts are designed by a team of first-class professionals in the yachting industry. 

The naval architecture is the responsibility of some of the most renowned design offices, such as Berret- Racoupeau Yacht Design, Joubert-Nivelt Yacht Design or Gilles Vaton Yacht Design who have been working with leading shipyards for years. They have developed an expertise in ocean-going yachts – notably aluminium hulled ones. They also specialize in the building of centerboarders.

They use the best interior designers, such as Pierre Frutschi; his expertise enables him to make the best use of living space.

The collaboration with Grand Large Yachting, allows them benefit from their in-house engineering department, headed by a naval architect who graduated from Southampton University.

A building process without compromise

For more than 10 years they have integrated all the stages of the building process, from woodwork and plumbing to electricity, always looking for excellence.

The company philosophy involves gathering the best specialists in each field of boat design and boat building.
This organisation enables them assure you of the highest level of quality in your yacht and to give you a definite delivery date. They would welcome a visit by you to the yard and be happy to show you their facilities.

The modular design of Garcia yachts enables them to take into account your preferences and create a unique yacht that will come up to all your expectations.

Of course, you are welcome to visit the yard at each stage of the construction of your yacht. If it is not easy for you to come to Normandy, they will post photos of the construction in progress on their web site.  You can access them with your user name and password.
